Canadian Living Crafts from the Kitchen

 

Canadian Living Magazine invites you to get an early start on your holiday celebrations at the Seasons Christmas Show.

In our on-the-spot kitchen, Executive Food Editor Elizabeth Baird will cook up some fast but fabulous foods from Canadian Living’s Complete Christmas Book ($24.95) – brand-new and in bookstores this fall. Our Decor senior editor, Karen Kirk, and several of her favourite designers will share some of the book’s quick, clever decorating tips for seasonal tabletops, stylish trees, mantels and more.

 Food Network's Cocktails with Flair
 


Take a break from shopping and relax and enjoy a holiday cocktail!

With all the razzle-dazzle of a Las Vegas show, the bartenders from the Flairco Bartending Institute will create lavish beverages in a lively interactive demonstration about entertaining with cocktails, where sampling the holiday drink specialties is just part of the fun.

 Christmas Spirits & Cheer Sampling Section
 

This exhibit area will play host to wineries, breweries and spirit companies who will be sampling their specialty holiday products, providing drink recipes and great gift ideas just in time for holiday party planning.

While enjoying the sampling section be sure not to miss the interactive cheese pairings hosted by the Dairy Farmers of Canada where you can sample Canadian cheeses paired with various alcoholic beverages provided by participating exhibitors.

Learn about cheese pairings and accompaniments, plus sample some amazing Canadian cheeses at the “Cheese of Every Vintage” sessions held daily in the ‘Christmas Spirits & Cheer’ sampling section of the show.

Marvel at spectacular seasonal style for the home showcased in beautifully decorated designer rooms created by event specialist Elizabeth Johnston of eventdecorator.com and Jim Connelly and Peter De Sousa contributors to Caledon Living Magazine and regulars on ‘Debbie Travis’ Facelift’.

 
 Seasonal Table Settings
 


While touring the main aisle of the show get inspired by the stunning tabletop displays created by Seasons exhibitors.  These tented vignettes are designed to stimulate the imagination giving visitors the inspiration they need to create breath taking table settings for their Christmas celebrations.

All products and decor in the display will be available for sale at the participating exhibitor’s booth.

With fine detail and rich colour, or with flowing lines and simple elegance, Betty's style reflects her love of drawing from nature and life subjects.

Breast Cancer Fundraiser

Now in its fourth year this collection is based on hope, hope for a cure for Breast Cancer in our lifetime. Sponsored by the York Region Friends, all of my artists’ royalties from this collection go to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Each year a new figurine and a new ornament are made from the original drawing this year look for the new figurine and ornament titled "The Gift of Hope"
